Dear Colleagues,

Please find attached a list of possible grant opportunities.

Please note:  The application budget MUST be reviewed and approved before applications can be submitted to the funder for consideration. 

Researchers must submit notice of their intention to submit a grant application at least ten (10) working days before the submission deadline to Karen Reinertsen at (reinertsenk@ukzn.ac.za).

Please submit the following at least five working daysbefore the submission deadline:

·       The Funder’s call document (containing the call background and all Funder and Researcher requirements and restrictions)

·       Draft Proposal

·       Draft Budget (in Excel format)

·       Draft letters of support, if required by the funder

·       If a Letter of Support is required by the funder, the following must be provided:

·   Letter of Acknowledgement from your line manager/Head of School, confirming your employment and position at UKZN, and confirming support for the project
