JOB TITLE: Industrial Engineering Graduate

An exciting opportunity have arisen for a Industrial Engineering Graduate to join the above division based at Toyota Tsusho South Africa Processing (PTY) Ltd, Prospecton – Durban (TTSAP Office). This is a 1 year internship which includes a learnership program.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To assist the Company (TTSAP) with productivity, safety, and efficiency, by helping in the implementation of designs for the Company to be more efficient and effective with materials, machines, and personnel

Minimum Qualification / Experience:

• Matric
• National Diploma / Degree in Industrial and/or Process Engineering
• Preference to 1-3 years’ experience with industrial engineering specially in projects, design.

DELIVERABLES/KPAs

• Search of continuous improvement and optimization of resources
• Assist in developing engineering projects and machine improvements.
• Provide assistance with the training for new line operators on the SQ, Blanking line, Shear line and Bundle turnover machine.
• Develop cost estimates and submit projects for approval and funding.
• Monitor costs, schedules, budget and specifications on projects and issue status updates.
• Study time, motion, methods, or speed involved in maintenance, production, or other operations to establish standard production rate or improve efficiency
• Prepare charts, graphs, or diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization
• Revise operational SOP’s
