The Research Office, College of Humanities, seeks to appoint 4 post-doctoral fellows. The fellows will conduct research and drive technological innovation in areas of digital humanities, AI, indigenous knowledge systems, and new technologies in humanities and social sciences. In consultation with the College Dean of Research and relevant stakeholders, the post-doctoral fellows will 1) conduct research on the integration of indigenous/alternative healing methods into the mainstream mental health services offered to students in tertiary institutions, 2) assist with the college in training postgraduate students on the ethical use of AI, 3) conduct research into the College’s various strategic initiatives, 4) assist with the development of digital humanities signature programmes and undertake appropriate research and write reports as and when required. To advance their own professional development, fellows will be expected to develop their own research niche areas during this period and to attend the College’s Post-Doctoral programme.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
