Participant recruitment: Cyber Bullying And Psychological Well-Being Research Study at the UKZN Howard College Campus

Dear UKZN Howard College Students

My name is Bongiwe Lengoba and I am a Masters candidate in the School of Applied Human Science, Discipline of Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am supervised by Prof Anna Meyer-Weitz, for my Masters I am conducting a study titled: "The influences of cyber bullying on the psychological well-being of students at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa: Qualitative Inquiry". The aim of this study is to explore the impact of cyber bullying on the psychological well-being of UKZN students, identifying effective coping strategies, informing evidence-based support initiatives through lived experiences of cyber bullying. Data will be collected through semi-interviews online or physically, lasting less than an hour.

NB: Data colected will remain anonymous and code names will be used for the analysis.

 

Ethical clearance has been granted by the HSSREC, Ref Number: 00007731/2024.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
