UCDP Reminder: CAES Academic Staff and Emerging Researchers Capacitation Workshop Retreat

Dear Colleague,

We are excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming workshops funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP). A key component of the UCDP is academic staff and student development. In this regard, an important outcome articulated in UKZN’s UCDP Plan is to conduct capacity development workshops for academic staff and emerging researchers.

The capacity development workshops aim to equip emerging academics with grant writing, pedagogy of supervision, and publication writing skills. The workshop will be face-to-face at the Protea Hotel Karridene Beach.

Please see the attached flyer for registration.

The deadline for registration is Thursday 7 September 2023.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
