UKZN LIBRARY WEEK CELEBRATION

To the University Community,

The University of KwaZulu-Natal Library Services is celebrating South African Library Week (SALW) from the 20 to 26 March 2023 and are inviting the Library Users to participate in the events at the various campuses.

The theme for 2023:

Libraries telling powerful stories

Visit your Campus library and WIN!

Daily competitions, quiz shows, and testing your Library searching skills!

To commemorate South African Library Week, UKZN Library will have amnesty on overdue fines during the said period, including Sunday 26 March 2023.  It must be noted that amnesty is for overdue fines only, it does not cover lost/damaged books.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
