Supplemental Instruction (SI) Programme

Call for SI Coordinator for 2019 Semester 1

The Supplemental Instruction (SI) programme is an academic support programme that aid students to study effectively through peer-assisted and well-structured study sessions. We are looking for postgraduate students who are vibrant, motivated and with leadership qualities for the position of SI coordinator. The SI coordinator is expected to assist the Academic Development Officer in implementing and monitoring the academic support programmes including the SI.

Applications for SI coordinator positions are now open for the following two schools at Westville in 2019 semester 1:

1.  1. School of Life Sciences (one position)

2.   2. School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (one position)

Requirements:

·     Must be in 1st year of Masters or above.

·     Should be a registered student at least in the first semester of 2019 academic year.

·     Must be confident, exhibit leadership qualities and have a good work ethic.

·     Must have 6hr or more to spare during the week.

·     Must be available during weekends (students residing in the university residences and areas near to Westville campus are preferred).

 If interested, please complete the attached application form and email it to the respective Academic Development Officers on or before Wednesday, 30th Jan 2019

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
