TUTORS FOR MATH195

3 MONTHS FIXED-TERM APPOINTMENT

CENTRE FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
WESTVILLE CAMPUS
 

The successful candidate appointed to this post will be required to tutor Introduction to Calculus (MATH195) in the Centre for Academic Success in Science and Engineering (CASSE). Duties will include giving tutorials once a week and invigilating tests.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·         Be registered for an honours degree or be a final year undergraduate student in Mathematics or a closely cognate discipline;

·         Tutoring experience.

 

ADVANTAGES:

·         A class mark of above 70% in calculus;

·         Excellent verbal skills;

·         Ability to use initiative and source additional information.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
