The closing date for abstract submissions and early bird registration is now 12 days away!  

   

A reminder to please register and submit your abstracts for the 2nd Symposium of the African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth) from 5th – 8th August, 2018, at the Durban International Convention Centre, Durban, South Africa. The theme for the Symposium is: “Towards Achieving Universal Health Coverage in Africa - Creating Synergies and Capacity through Education, Research and Quality Health Services”.

 

Abstracts can be submitted in the following sub-themes:

1.       Training Health Professionals for Universal Health Coverage

2.       Building Health Research Capacity in Africa for UHC

3.       Achieving the SDGs and the 90-90-90 targets for HIV/AIDS

4.       Financing health care in Africa

5.       North-South & South-South partnerships for health system development (panel & posters)

Registrations, abstract submissions and workshop proposals can be captured online. You can access this via the main website (www.afrehealth.org ), clicking on the “Conferences and Events” tab and scrolling down to “Symposium 2018”.  Alternatively, you can go directly to www.afrehealthsymposium2018.co.za

·         D43 Abstract Submissions:  Closes: 30 June 2018

·         Early Bird Registration (Fee: $200):  Closes: 30 May 2018

·         Final Conference Registration (Fee: $250):  Closes: 31 July 2018

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
