2018 Student Recruitment at the HIV Pathogenesis Programme (HPP)

The HIV Pathogenesis Programme (HPP) laboratory has opportunities for students who are interested in pursuing a Master of Medical Science (MMedSci) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by research. The laboratory is located at the Doris Duke Medical Research Institute, Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Research projects are in the broad fields of HIV and TB pathogenesis (immunology, virology, host/pathogen interaction). Our laboratory emphasizes innovative exploratory research and training of pre-doctoral and post-doctoral researchers.

Students will be directly supervised by faculty members, Dr Bongiwe Ndlovu, or Dr Zaza Ndhlovu.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
