Effectiveness of Moodle at UKZN

Hello:
You are invited to participate in my students' PhD project on e-learning. The research topic is "A Model for Measuring E-Learning Systems Success in South African Universities: A case study of the University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN)".The purpose of this survey is to solicit information from students regarding the Moodle system at UKZN. The information you provide me will go a long way in helping me identify the possible correlation. This survey should only take 10 minutes to complete. In the survey you are asked to indicate what is true for you, so there is no right or wrong answer.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Ayanda Msomi the researcher by email at this email address mpuaya@gmail.com.

Ethical clearance with ethical clearance approval number HSS/0799/017D was obtained. I have also attached the ethical clearance approval letter as well as gatekeepers permission letter.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
