Colloquium and graduate workshop on "A Southern African Dialogue on the Professions & Professional Work"

Dear Colleague,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit an abstract to a Colloquium on ‘A Southern African Dialogue on the Professions and Professional Work’,. The Colloquium will be held on 18-19 September 2017 at the University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa.  A notice outlining a Call for Abstracts as well as information on a Graduate Workshop is attached.

We are happy to announce that the keynote speaker is
Professor Mike Saks (University of Suffolk) a leading international scholar in the sociology of professions, former chair of RC52 (Sociology of Professional Groups) and a research professor in Health Sociology (

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
