LINGUISTICS TUTORS
The Linguistics discipline in the School of Arts on the Howard College Campus invites applications for semester two, 2026 tutoring positions. Successful candidates will be required to conduct tutorials in the first-year module, Intro to Language studies, and/or the second-year module, The Multilingual mind, and/or third year module, Comparing Languages. The tutorials will take place on a Friday on campus (face-to-face). The successful applicant must be registered (or must be intending to register for semester 2, 2026) for an Honours/Master’s degree or a PhD and must have majored in Linguistics.
Requirements:
- Registered (or intending to register) for Hons/MA or PhD in linguistics
- Must have majored in Linguistics
- Good interpersonal skills
- Dependable
- Available for tutoring, student consultations, and marking from 27 July 2026.
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
Applicants are required to email the respective module co-ordinators to express their interest.
