Merck Curiosity Cube - Open Day on PMB Campus

From 23 - 29 July, the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Pietermaritzburg Campus will host Merck's Curiosity Cube, a solar-powered mobile science lab bringing hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) experiences to primary school learners across the country (as well as in Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Eswatini, Europe, and North America). This is the first time the Cube will be stationed in KwaZulu-Natal. This year's theme is Synthetic Biology.

On Saturday, 25 July, from 10h00 - 15h00, at the Agriculture and Life Sciences campus on Carbis Road in Pietermaritzburg, the Curiosity Cube™ will be open to the public. Visitors of all ages experience:

  • Hands-on science experiments
  • New technology
  • Interactions with real-life scientists

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will need to login in order to place a notice.
