The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music proudly presents The Songbook Sessions led by Owanisi Sauti performing live at the Monday Night Jam. Monday, 04 May 2026 at 18:00.

 

Born Nomfundo Cele, she recently launched The Becoming of Owanisi Sauti is an intimate jazz folk listening session and live debut introducing a new artistic identity and sound. Through original music and storytelling shaped by faith and jazz, which marked the beginning of her public musical journey.

 

For audiences and musicians alike, The Songbook Sessions offers a vibrant platform for collaboration, learning, and musical exploration—continuing its mission to cultivate community through live performance and shared repertoire. Proudly supported by Concerts SA.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will need to login in order to place a notice.
