SOUTH AFRICAN SURVEY OF STUDENT ENGAGEMENT (SASSE)
Print

Dear Students

The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), together with the University of the Free State (UFS), are conducting research on student engagement to gauge the extent to which conditions that matter to student success at university are present at UKZN. As part of the Student Engagement research project, we’re running a short SASSE Pulse survey focusing specifically on career readiness and employability.

If you are a senior undergraduate student (anyone who is not in first year), we invite you to complete a short SASSE Pulse survey focusing on career readiness and employability.

If you already completed the main SASSE survey in 2025, thank you! This is a quick follow-up survey with 6 short questions to explore a specific area in more detail. If you haven’t taken part before, no problem, you’re still invited to share your views.

The survey takes only 5 minutes, and by completing it you stand a chance to win a R500 shopping voucher! The survey will close on Friday 27 February 2026.
