 Notice of Fumigation with VAPRO Fogger (pyrethroid fumigant):

Bews Herbarium, John Bews B-block

Pietermaritzburg campus

15h00 on Friday 30 January 2026

To coincide with the fumigation of the Life Sciences Library, the Bews Herbairum will be fumigated at the same time. A pyrethroid fogger of the brand VAPRO will be used.

Please vacate the Bews B-block from 15h00 on 30 January and for all of Saturday, 31 January.   The Herbarium will re-open on Monday 2 February.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will need to login in order to place a notice.
