DISCIPLINE OF PHYSICS

FIRST YEAR DEMONSTRATORS IN PHYSICS

Howard College Campus

 

The Discipline of Physics in the School of Science and Agriculture seeks to appoint demonstrators for first semester of 2026 to

·      Demonstrate experiments in the Engineering Physics laboratory,

·      Assess practical reports and

·      Conduct extended tutorials to Engineering Physics students.

Requirements

1.     Must be a registered Engineering student at UKZN

2.     Must be 4th year engineering level or above

3.     Previous demonstrator performance will be taken into consideration when evaluating eligibility for appointment

Training will be given to successful applicants before commencement of the practical programme.

·      Send completed application form (Form only, no other attachments) to MbenseD@ukzn.ac.za (“Demonstrator Application” on the subject line)

Please note that correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will need to login in order to place a notice.
