The Supplemental Instruction (SI) programme is an academic support programme that aid students to study effectively through peer-assisted and well-structured study sessions. SI sessions will be offered weekly as contact sessions. We are looking for students who are vibrant, motivated and have a passion to help other students, for the position of SI leaders.


Applications for SI leader positions are now open for the following modules at Westville:


MATH130, MATH140, MATH212, STAT130, COMP100 and COMP200

Requirements:

  • Must be in your 3rd level of study or above. (Preference will be given to post-graduate students, however, 3rd year students may be considered in exceptional cases).
  • Should be a registered student at least in the first semester of 2026 academic year.
  • Must have achieved at least 65% in the module for which you want to be an SI Leader.
  • Must be confident and willing to assist others and have a good work ethic.
  • Must have 5hr or more to spare during the week.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will need to login in order to place a notice.
