The Centre for Jazz and Popular Music proudly presents the JCFI Music Ensemble Indlela Tour, made possible through the support of Concerts SA, the Festival Enterprise Catalyst, SAMRO, the National Treasury Jobs Fund, and IKS Cultural Consulting on Wednesday 30 July 2025 at 17:30.

The JCFI Music Ensemble Tour is an exciting musical event that brings to the stage a new generation of South African female jazz musicians. The tour features original compositions created and performed by the members of the JCFI Music Ensemble.

Audiences can look forward to an inspiring showcase of fresh, genre-crossing works that reflect personal stories, cultural roots, and contemporary influences. Each performance is a celebration of women-led creativity, artistic excellence, and the powerful role of mentorship in music.

The tour proudly forms part of JCFI’s broader mission to develop spaces for young female instrumentalists to perform, compose, and collaborate in professional settings. This event is proudly surpported by Concerts SA, an initiative dedicated to supporting live music performance and mobility for musicians across Southern Africa.
