The Discipline of Chemical Engineering has
the following fixed term vacancy in order to meet its teaching and learning
needs in the 2nd semester of 2025.
Lecturer in ENCH2EF
Chemical Engineering Fundamentals
The module will cover fundamental concepts in
heat, mass and momentum transfer. The incumbent will be required to deliver
lectures, develop tutorials and assess the students’ knowledge and competencies
through quizzes, tests and assignments, and examinations in accordance with the
UKZN College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science 2025 handbook.
The incumbent will
report to the Academic Leader: Chemical Engineering
Minimum Requirements:
· BSc Eng degree
· Relevant Masters degree
· Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level,
specifically in transport phenomena
The remuneration will be at the University standard rates of pay.
