The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) is a government component established to support capacity building of the Local Government for efficient service delivery. Part of its objectives is to build a pipeline of qualified professionals within the Built Environment Professions, and the initiatives include awarding bursaries to leaners pursuing qualifications in Civil , Electrical Engineering , Town and Regional Planning , Construction Studies, and Environmental Sciences .

MISA is looking for students registered in the above-mentioned academic field and who are without funds to pay for their fees for the current academic year 2025. These should be students who are in their first year and subsequent years of studies. Attached herein is our MISA Bursary Application Form and the advertisement.

All applicants are requested to make sure that they combine all their documents into one file  (pdf) when applying

Completed application forms must be submitted directly to ( ts.bursaries2025@misa.gov.za). All applications must be submitted by the 15 June 2025.
