Dear Academic Staff Members of UKZN

I trust you are well.

I, Zaakirah Green, am pursuing my Master of Commerce degree in the Department of Industrial Psychology at the University of the Western Cape. I would like to invite you to take part in my research project if you meet the criteria of being an academic in South Africa's higher education sector.

Project Title: The influence of empowering leadership, employee empowerment and institutional climate on organisational commitment within the Higher Education sector in South Africa

Project Overview:

The research project will investigate how institutional climate, employee empowerment, and empowering leadership affect academic staff members' organizational commitment in the South African higher education sector. Furthermore, the research will determine which of these factors most significantly influences organizational commitment in tertiary educational institutions.

Please note that your participation is completely voluntary and anonymous.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
