URGENT: BREC LAN NOTICE TO UKZN BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH COMMUNITY

Researchers with active BREC-approved protocols whose funding status has been affected by changed US funding policies or notices are requested to communicate such changes to BREC (via RIG) as soon as possible.

Such communications to BREC must include:

BREC reference number:

Clinical trial/interventional study? Y/N

Funder:

Describe any change in funding status:

Attach source of information in funding status change (if available):

Outline the PI plan to respond to change of funding status:

Describe how care for AEs/SAEs etc will be provided:

Note that no study amendments may be implemented without prior BREC review and approval.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
