We are thrilled to announce that we have secured funding from DHET/NSF for bursaries on our Certificate in Business Administration and Certificate in Public Administration Programmes!

Certificate in Business Administration (CBA)

This six-month programme introduces basic concepts, practices, and techniques that are consistent with modern businesses, providing knowledge and skills which can be used immediately, and allows successful delegates an opportunity to apply for a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (subject to meeting UKZN admission criteria).

Certificate in Public Administration (CPA)

This six-month programme introduces basic concepts as they relate to the public sector, examines practices and techniques that are consistent with transforming public entities, and provides skills that can be used immediately. Successful students may apply for a Bachelor of Administration Degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Subject to meeting UKZN admission criteria).

Requirements:

  • Demographic requirements:

Black (Black, Coloured or Indian) Unemployed South African Youth (18 years – 35 years)

OR

Black (Black, Coloured or Indian) Unemployed South Africans with disabilities as defined in the Code of Good Practice on employment of people with disabilities issued under the Employment Equity Act

  • Educational requirements:

Completion of National Senior Certificate (NSC Degree), with not less than 24 NSC points (excluding Life Orientation), and with Mathematics at NSC rating Level 2, English at NSC rating Level 4 and Life Orientation at NSC rating Level 4

OR

Mature candidates may also apply on the basis of Industry experience and recognition of prior learning

  • Geographic requirements:

Candidates need to reside in one of the following Municipalities:

1. eThekwini Municipality

2. Umdoni Municipality

3. uMhlatuze Municipality

4. King Cetshwayo District Municipality

5. Msunduzi Municipality

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
