 TUTOR VACANCIES: ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

The developmental modules in the School of Arts on the Howard College Campus invite applications for 2024 tutoring positions for the module English Language Development. Successful candidates will be required to conduct tutorials in this first-year module of semester two (2024) at Howard College Campus. The tutorials will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on campus (face-to-face). The successful applicants must be registered (or must intend to register) for an Honours / Master’s degree or a PhD and must have completed English as a home language and/or modules in English.
Requirements:
  • Registered (or intending to register) for Hons/MA or PhD in the School of Arts
  • Access to a reliable Internet connection
  • Command of the English Language
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Dependable
  • Available for tutoring, student consultations, and marking from 5 August 2024  to  29 October 2024)
 Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
Only successful candidates will be emailed for an interview.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
