COMPETITION AND ONLINE FREEDOM CONCERT ALERT - UKZN JAM 2024

The UKZN Centre for Jazz and Popular Music invites video submissions of no more than 6 minutes for consideration for an online Freedom day concert on Saturday, April 27th. The video will feature a song you have written around the theme of freedom, peace, solidarity or protest. The song may be instrumental or have lyrics, in which case you must also submit the lyrics as a text document. Instrumental compositions should be accompanied by a brief synopsis, explaining the concept and Link to the theme

The top 15 entries will win a prize of R 1 000 each, and the top 3 entries will win a prize of 

R5 000, R3 000 and R2 000 respectively.

Please mail submissions to zamat1@ukzn.ac.za cc ukznjazzcentre@gmail.com  by no later than 3pm on Friday, April 26th. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, May 1st. Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
