School of Arts Host the World Intellectual Property Day with Creative Performers, Speakers and Entrepreneurs
UKZN School of Arts Host the World Intellectual
Property Day with Creative Performers, Speakers and Entrepreneurs amongst the
student body and alumni
As we approach
World Intellectual Property Day, the School of Arts in association with UKZN
InQubate is thrilled to announce a special celebration in honor of this
occasion. Our focus will be on Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and
Well-Being, highlighting the crucial role of intellectual property in advancing
global health initiatives. We are honoured to welcome Amina, a distinguished partner at Adams
& Adams, as our keynote speaker for the event. With over 15 years of
experience in intellectual property law, Amina brings a wealth of knowledge and
expertise to the table. Her insights into trademark and copyright law,
trademark portfolio management, enforcement, and more will provide valuable
perspectives on leveraging intellectual property for societal benefit. The
performers that will be featured in the event will present original
compositions showcasing their Intellectual Property through music, dance and
creative expressions. At the event we
will also sign-up interested students for the upcoming Entrepreneurship in the
Arts Program that will kick-off in May as part of the Wadhwani Foundation
Ignite Program
