CLMS SSS: Know the Risks. Own the Choice. Shape Your Future
Print

Dear Students,

SSS invites you to a two-part psychoeducational seminar aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of substance use, misuse, and addiction among university students.  These evidence-informed seminars will provide students with knowledge on the effects of substances on the brain, mental health, physical health, academic performance, and decision-making.  You will learn to recognise the early warning signs of substance misuse, understand the factors that contribute to addiction, identify protective factors, and become familiar with healthy coping strategies and available support services.  The seminar series aims to promote informed decision-making, reduce the risk of substance-related harm, and empower students to prioritise their wellbeing and academic success.
