You are cordially invited to an engagement with the Swedish Embassy, scheduled for 9 September 2026 at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), Westville Campus.

The Swedish Embassy will be visiting UKZN as part of its Sweden on the Road Initiative, which brings together South African youth and high-level stakeholders to explore the intersection of gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and climate resilience.

The programme will feature remarks by the Ambassador of Sweden, a keynote address by the Speaker of the South African National Assembly, Hon. Thoko Didiza, a panel discussion, and a collaborative session aimed at developing recommendations for South Africa’s engagement in the COP31 negotiations.
