Dear Students

SANParks invites aspiring youth entering their first year of undergraduate studies in 2027 to apply for the 
Community Bursary Programme. 

Priority will be given to designated groups: women, youth, and people with disabilities. 

Who can apply?

• South African citizens 
• Youth aged 18 - 35 
• Learners from communities neighbouring 
• or adjacent to National Parks
• Entering first-year post matric studies in 2027
• Open to TVET College, Universities and Universities of Technology
• Applicants with a household income below the threshold of R350 000 per year 
• For current students: 100% pass rate 
• (must have passed all registered courses)  

Fields of Study:

• Environmental Sciences
• Tourism
• Social Sciences 

Documents Required:

• Motivation letter indicating reasons and field of study
• CV
• Certified copy of identity document
• Certified latest academic results
• Acceptance letter
• Proof of residential address 
• Social grant affidavit (If applicable)
