Digital Transformation of Teacher Education for the South African 4IR classroom (Students)
Print

Dear Students,

You are invited to participate in a survey on the digital learning experiences of undergraduate students in the School of Education (SoE) at UKZN. It aims to understand how the SoE is preparing students for their future classrooms in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).   This is part of a more extensive study examining the digital transformation programme in South Africa using the SoE as a case study. It is envisaged that the outcome of this study will offer useful insight to the academic community on the possibilities and approaches to blended learning while informing the SoE of the maturity level of the institution's digital transformation drive.

The survey is open to all the undergraduate students in the SoE at UKZN. The survey will only take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Participation in this survey is voluntary. You may end the survey at any point.

Ethical Clearance for this study has been granted by UKZN as per the Protocol reference number: HSSREC/00004063/2022.

You may access the survey at:

For questions, or if you wish to withdraw your response, you may email me (Dr. Orhe Arek-Bawa) at Arekbawao@ukzn.ac.za or my host (Prof. Saras Reddy) at Reddys15@ukzn.ac.za. Thank you in advance for your participation!
