Nomfundo Cele’s Jazz recital on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at 18:00. Booking is essential as seating will be limited to 50 people.

 

The UKZN School of Arts (Music) presents Nomfundo Cele a final year BMus student recital.

 

Cele will be doing her recital for jazz vocal performance at the Centre for jazz and popular music on Wednesday on 1 December 2021. The doors open at 17:30 and the music starts at 18:00. The repertoire consists of contemporary jazz tunes, soul music and rearrangements of popular songs. This is Cele's exit exam where she will be graded for performance, entertainment and deliverance.

 

Cele's accompanying band consists of:

- Sbusiso Shabalala on keys

-Mdu Mthethwa on electric bass

-Blessing Thwala on double bass

-Bruce Baker on drums

- Hlubi Vakalisa on saxophone

 

Backing vocals:

Nelisizwe Skhosana

Nomalanga Khayile.

 

The show will start with an opening act from the Ensemble 3A group who will also be marked for their performance.

Entrance is free for students with a student card and R50 for non students.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
