Call for MATH HOT seat tutors

School of Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science

2021 Semester 1

Applications are invited from postgraduate students from the relevant field for the position of HOT seat tutors in the Mathematics discipline. Under the current circumstances, the HOT seat sessions will be offered fully online via Zoom and MS Teams. We are looking for students who are vibrant, motivated and have a passion to help other students for the position of HOT seat tutors.

Requirements:

·  Must be a post graduate student currently doing Masters of PhD. Students with exceptional academic performance, but in Honours programme will also be considered.

·  Should be a registered student in the first semester of 2021 academic year.

·  Must have achieved at least 65% in the core Mathematics modules.

·  Must be confident and willing to assist others and have a good work ethic.

·  Must have at least 4hr to spare during the week.

·  If you had been a HOT seat tutor before, it will be an added advantage.
