COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCE
TEN MONTH FIXED-TERM APPOINTMENTS DISCIPLINE OF DENTISTRY
SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES WESTVILLE CAMPUS
 
The  Discipline  of  Dentistry  seeks  to  appoint  four  part  time  clinical  and  practical 
supervisors  who  will  contribute  actively  to  undergraduate  teaching,  learning,  and 
community  engagement.  The  successful  incumbent  will  be  required  to  render  an effective  
and  efficient  service  towards  the  undergraduate  clinical  and  practical programme. 
Candidates will be required to supervise at various public sector hospital and NGO settings as 
required by the discipline.

Minimum Requirement:
•     Applicants should have a: Bachelor of Oral Health, Bachelor of Oral Hygiene, 
Bachelor of Dental Therapy or a Degree in Dentistry.
•     Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a/an 
oral hygienist/dental therapist or dentist.
•     Independent practice status (compulsory).
•     Minimum of two years of clinical and practical experience
•     Computer literate in Microsoft office packages.
•     Valid code 08/EB driver' s licence (unendorsed).

The closing date for receipt of applications is 03 March 2021. The University however, reserves the 
right in special circumstances to accept late applications or to extend the above date to

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
