Dear UKZN staff and students,

Please could you advise anyone in your circle of family/friends/acquaintances that the Law Clinic at Howard College is operating off-campus during the lockdown period in so far as we are able. If you know of an indigent client requiring assistance in civil legal matters we would encourage them to call us on 031-260 2446 (the number is forwarded to a staff member's phone) or email peterk@ukzn.ac.za   Students are amongst those assisted.

Those services we offer are free to qualifying clients. Some examples of the types of legal matters we take on include land and eviction matters, civil claims and contractual disputes, domestic violence, and family law matters.

Thank you and stay well,

UKZN Law Clinic, Howard College.
