AD HOC LECTURER (Parasites and People BIOL344)

FIXED TERM CONTRACT

 

SCHOOL OF LIFE SCIENCES

Westville CAMPUS

 

REFERENCE NO.: SLS04/2020

 

The incumbent will be required to teach some sections  of the BIOL 344 (Parasites and People) focusing on the morphology and lifecycles of important parasites, their modes of transmission, epidemiology and various methods of control, including pesticides, molluscicides and drugs. 

 

Practicals will be on selected topics from the above. The incumbent will be expected to oversee/supervise practicals and organize tutorials required for the module. S/he will be expected to liaise with the Module Coordinator to ensure that all the teaching, practical and assessments requirements are met.

 

The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader: BEB

 

Minimum Requirements:

·     MSc degree in biology, or a relevant field.

·     Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level.

 

The appointment will be at standard University rates on a per lecture/tutorial/practical basis.
