The Graduate School of Business and Leadership seeks to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated individual committed to research and community engagement in the field of Hydroponics Climate Change and Local Economic Development. The successful applicant will join a specialized team of staff and postgraduate students. The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) sponsor the RLED Programme. This post is only available to South African citizens or permanent residents of South Africa.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (objectively measurable from CV)
Lecturer
- Relevant doctoral degree or in the process of completing a doctorate in the field of Hydroponics.
- Evidence of excellence as a researcher within the discipline;
- Experience in teaching within the discipline at a tertiary level with some supervision of at least 4 Masters / Honours Students.
Advantages:
· Track record of successful research supervision of Masters Students
· Experience of running LED projects in Hydroponics and Climate Change
