POSTS [Community Development Level 1 and 2]
 
REFERENCE: SOBEDS/2019 Peer Mentor
 
Thediscipline of Community Development wishes to appoint volunteers for 2019 semester 1 in the peer mentorship programme. The appointee will report to the Academic Development Offers and to ADO Assistants in the School.
Requirements:
· Have completed Second Year Community Development modules (with a minimum average of 65%)
· Have a relevant qualification in Community Development, and are familiar with major modules in these disciplines.
· Must be currently registered for 3rd year or Honours studies within the School of Built Environment and Development Studies.
· The candidates should have the ability to facilitate academic discussions in tutorials, assist with marking (and invigilation) of tests and assignments, and assist in conducting academic developmental programmes.
· Previous general student support experience are a definite advantage.
·  Must attend all trainings provided in the school
 
NO REMUNERATION FOR THIS POSITION, STRICTLY VOLUNTARY
