Call for HOT seat tutors for 2019 Semester 1

HOT seat is a drop-in facility where students can get one-on-one assistance with their 1st and 2nd level modules. We are looking for postgraduate students who are vibrant, motivated and have a passion to help other students, for the position of HOT seat tutors in the disciplines – Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science.

Requirements:

·     Must be a postgraduate student (Honours and above) in the relevant field.

·     Should be a registered student at least in the first semester of 2019 academic year.

·     Must be confident and willing to assist others and have a good work ethic.

·     Must have at least 4h to spare during the week.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
