Klomac Engineering has a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineering Graduate or one with experience of 4years.

Job specification:

Mechanical Draughtsman

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating drawings that exhibit the detail and fabrication of pump stations, pipelines and associated components.

 Primary responsibilities

Develop detailed designs for mechanical equipment and systems.

Provide details on component descriptions.

Resolve design problems.

Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings and ideas.

Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components   or machinery.

Compute dimensions of materials and purchase accordingly.

Correct operating deficiencies.

Draft technical details.

Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.

Draw in minute details of structures.

Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.

Using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD, Solid Works) to prepare 3D modeling and isometric drawings.

Create and store drawings electronically.

Program drawings into automated manufacturing systems.

Prepare variations of design.

Explain concepts to manufacturers.

Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.

Prepare detail fabrication drawings.

 

Education & Experience

Matric

BSc in Mechanical Engineering

+- 4 years working experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman

Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works and relevant software applications

Preference will be given to pump and pipeline experience

BSc in Mechanical Engineering graduates are also welcome

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
