Topic: “The Ethics of Religion: The Story behind Warring Souls.”

 

Speaker: Emeritus Prof. Martin Prozesky

Time: 1-2pm

 

Prof Prozesky is Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies in the School of Religion, Philosophy and Classics, and a former Dean in the University. The lecture will start by explaining the unbounded nature of moral concern. It will then introduce the problem of ethical and unethical religion, with examples. Prof Prozesky will also explain why he chose to address this issue in the form of a novel, the way he did, and also mention some of the responses to it.

There will be time for questions followed by refreshments.

Copies will be available at a special launch price of R200 each (cash only).

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
