BSc GRADUATE WITH ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY – COMPANY BASED IN HAMMARSDALE

 

PosteA global manufacturer of specialty chemicals for pulp and paper, leather and industrial water treatment and process chemistry company based in Hammarsdale (KZN) is looking for a BSc Graduate with Analytical Chemistry. The successful student must be willing to travel to and from Hammarsdale.  

This is a fast-paced but friendly environment that will suit an organized person with a great eye for detail.

 

The graduate programme offers the opportunity to a recently qualified Graduate to gain exposure in their field of study as well as gain a broader understanding of the business. During the year the Graduate will be allocated laboratory project related work, receive a lot of coaching and mentoring, attend structured learning programs focused on their technical skills development and many other exciting learning opportunities.

 

Qualifying candidates must have (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

        Must have completed a BSc Degree with Analytical Chemistry (Required)

        Must have strong technical knowledge with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

        Ability to prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced work environment, to remain calm under pressure and be willing to adapt to changing schedules as required.

        Ability to work with teams, and to manage multiple tasks;

        Must be logical and a problem solver;

        Must be willing to learn new technologies;

        Must be passionate about working in the chemical industry

The job calls for a highly energetic, self - driven, independent, self-motivated person with excellent problem solving and communication skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure, work in professional manner at all times.  Candidates must possess high levels of integrity together with strong self-leadership abilities. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of management both within the organisation and the customer base and is expected to have good interpersonal and written communication skills.
