LaTeX workshop - 2018

I will be running two two-day LaTeX workshops. One on the Pietermaritzburg campus on the 1st and 2nd of February 2018, and one in the July vacation on the Westville
campus (exact dates to be announced, preferably near the beginning of the
vacation).

The workshops are aimed at senior graduate students and postgraduate students in
the mathematical sciences. No prior knowledge of LaTeX is assumed, but the
workshop will nonetheless cover many advanced aspects needed for the production
of a thesis or other publication.

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
