SCHOOL OF CLINICAL MEDICINE

MEDICAL SCHOOL

 

REFERENCE NUMBER: SCM01/17

 

The incumbent will provide academic leadership in scholarship, community engagement, research and postgraduate training, including serving as a member of the School Management Committee. S/he will also be responsible for the administrative processes relating to the portfolio, and liaise with the Dean: College Research.

 

The incumbent will report to the Dean and Head of School.

 

Minimum Requirements:  

·          Doctoral degree at the level of Senior Lecturer or above

·          Demonstrated excellence of scholarship and research relevant at level of appointment as per UKZN Senate norms.

·          Experience in development and/or management of academic programmes

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
