SURVEY TO INVESTIGATE UKZN BILINGUAL LANGUAGE POLICY IMPLEMENTATION
Print

Ethical clearance number: HSS/0668/016

Researcher: Professor Delia North

Dear Student,

SURVEY TO INVESTIGATE UKZN BILINGUAL LANGUAGE POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

This is a brief but very crucial survey that seeks to investigate the levels of familiarity with the university language policy and plan as adopted in 2006, and revised in 2014 amongst the UKZN students, staff members (non-academic and academic) and the university management. The survey seeks to establish the extent of the intervention required in order to efficiently implement, and foster the objectives of the language policy and plan. It is thus a vehicle through which we explore innovative ways (including digital approaches) of promoting the use, and appreciation of indigenous languages within the university.

You are kindly requested to complete the survey in full and submit it back through the link provided, before 04 May 2017.
