The Division of Immunology UCT invites applications for a Master’s degree project. The successful candidate will have experience in immunology/ cell biology and a research interest in infectious diseases. The research will explore the role of Langerhans cell function in the immunology of the foreskin. The project also involves the incorporation of Langerhans Cells into ex vivo skin models.   

 

The Division of Immunology UCT invites applications for a PhD project. The successful candidate will have experience in proteomics or cell biology and a research interest in infectious diseases. The research will explore the role of epithelial barrier function in the male genital tract using proteomics to discover and validate protein signatures of the foreskin associated with HIV prevention. The project also involves the development of ex vivo models to validate the data.

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
