ICS Notice: SABC TV Licence 2016/2017

The SABC Business Licence Policy and the Broadcasting Act Licence Regulations require that every department possessing a television set be in possession of a valid TV licence. The definition of TV set includes any device capable of receiving off air television signals and includes Plasma and LCD screens with built-in-tuners.

 

The annual licence fee of R250 per set towards the UKZN Global Licence for the period of 2016/2017 is now payable and to avoid penalty, departments are requested to urgently forward an on-line IDR to ICS.

 

Note: Only on-line IDR's will be accepted and must include the following details:

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
