VPN client for OFF CAMPUS access to library resources

Users are required to to download the Fortinet installation plug in to activate VPN client off campus access.

The attachment documents found below contains instructions for downloading the installation plug-in for APPLE MAC, Android and Windows machines.

Please read through these documents complete all the steps and instructions then proceed to.
Log in with your UKZN username and password at this link VPN Client.

Important :
Remember after you have done the installation and connected to the UKZN network  you need to
open another tab and go to http://library.ukzn.ac.za/TopNav/ElectronicResources/databases700.aspx to access library journals

Will I still be able to read my Notices from within my email?

In a manner of speaking yes. However you will not get the entire notice delivered to you in your email, instead you will get a daily digest which will list the subject of the notices, a short summary of each notice and hyperlinks that will take you to that notice on the web.

2. Who has access to notices?


Anybody can access the notice system, however you will not be able to place notices from off-campus.
