I write to give advance notice of the possible delivery – ship unloading and customs clearance times being variable –  to the Medical School campus of a shipping container which will contain a number of large, wooden  crates in which the Liquid Nitrogen manufacturing plant and equipment has been packed. Currently the delivery is expected on Saturday 6 September and the unpacking will occur on that day and during Sunday 7 September.

The container will be delivered to the Glastonbury Close gate to the campus – I will confirm times with RMS later next week - and I expect that it will be unloaded in the campus road just inside that gate. It may therefore cause access difficulties to the level 0 parking area underneath the DDMRI Building (Phase 1) during that weekend so please avoid parking there.

I believe fork lift equipment will be used to transport the crates to the Liquid Nitrogen facility which is the grey structure at the northern end – nearest to the generator rooms – on level 0 of the DDMRI building (Phase 1). This is a further reason why I believe it prudent to discourage parking in that area during that weekend.

The crates will be unpacked next to the Liquid Nitrogen facility and the plant and equipment will be stored in the Equipment Room and cage area of the facility until installation commences.

I shall send out another notice late next week to either confirm or to change these arrangements – I want to give as much notice as possible of this event which I hope will cause as little inconvenience as possible by virtue of the fact that it will take place (hopefully) over a weekend.
